Do you have retail experience? Are you organized, great at math and confident with excel? If yes, we have the perfect job for you. We are looking for an individual to help maintain accurate inventory records based on actual counts, you will work to control on-hand inventory and reduce shrinkage. High School Diploma or GED required. College-level coursework in Business Management, computer coding, Mathematics desired.

Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). College-level coursework in Business Management, computer coding, Mathematics, or other related discipline is desired.

Experience: One year of prior retail, sales, or data entry; or a combination of prior experience and education. Prior experience with Hardware or Building Materials is highly Desired.

Responsibilities:

  • Display excellent communication skills in-person, on the telephone, on the radio and in writing
  • Operate a computer and necessary programs to create and maintain inventory records
  • Maintain accurate Inventory records to include quantity on-hand, pricing, cost, location, coding, and aggressively investigate all discrepancies
  • Develop a level of knowledge of the range of products and services that we provide, being aware of new products when they arrive
  • Actively participate in the removal of old products and inventory from the retail areas and computer inventory
  • Prepare reports for Managers and Owners to address inventory questions, discrepancies, profit and loss
  • Help to maintain all store products, product placement, and inventory

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:

  • Ability to read and write and to understand written or verbal directions
  • Ability to perform basic math, create and maintain records, complete basic forms
  • Ability to communicate with Employees in person, by phone, by radio, and in writing
  • Ability to employ Good Interpersonal skills and etiquette
  • Ability to display good judgement and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to follow Data patterns from multiple sources for consolidation for input, update, or correction

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to see clearly at distances and up-close
  • Ability to Sit for extended periods of time using computer(s)
  • Manual Dexterity and Coordination
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds often and up to 50 pounds occasionally
