This year was the 54th annual Blake Jones Trout Derby in Bishop, CA.
The annual event is traditionally held to kick off the fishing season in the Owens Valley but after the crazy winter we had, it was postponed to September. The entries were about half of previous years due to the date change but we were still excited to help.
High Country Lumber’s ESOP Committee gathered a crew of HCL representatives to volunteer at this years Blake Jones event. We had a blast helping direct fishermen & women, weigh-in their catches and helping anywhere else that was needed to make the event run smoothly.
